As much as we would MUCH rather be cheering and tumbling...it's the boring stuff that makes it all happen. These are the basic "rules". For a complete list, please see the registration information sheet or send us a message.

* Tuition is due on the 1st, late on the 5th. After the 5th if fees are not paid in full the child will not be allowed on the floor. This is a liability issue.
* Competition fees are due no later than 3 weeks prior to the event. The child will be removed from any critical positioning if fees are not received and the child will not be allowed to compete. Should fees be paid late there is no guarantee the child's previous position will be reinstated.
* Sportsmanship is an integral part of cheerleading. This applies to the adults as well as the children. Bad mouthing, trash talking, or any action taken meant to be negative towards another will result in the expulsion of the member. Period.
* Practices prior to a competition are MANDATORY. There are NO excused absences, period. It is absolutely necessary for all members to be present for these practices. Generally this will be no less than 2 weeks before an event but depending on the event, holidays, skills, etc may be changed to more or less. You will be notified of schedule changes with plenty of time.
* No uniforms will be handed out without full payment.
* Returned checks will incur a $30 fee. If not honored/paid within 2 weeks, we will make use of any and all remedies available under the law.
**We reserve the right to add to or change policy as the need arises. You will be notified of any changes prior to the effective date.

ATTENDANCE  & PRACTICES

1. Cheerleaders are to attend every practice. Only the coaches can excuse a cheerleader from practice for school or other activities.

2.More than 2 non-excused absences a month may result in being removed from the squad.

3.There is to be NO absences 2 weeks prior to competition for any reason.

4.If you miss for any reason a practice one week prior to Nationals, you may be removed from that competition.

5. Tardiness will NOT be tolerated. If it becomes a problem, you will be removed from the squad. Warm up and stretch is always done at the beginning of practices, and tardiness can cause your child to miss this and, thus, be more prone to an injury for lack of physical preparation.

6.We understand that there are occasionally circumstances beyond your control and that practices may be missed. Keep in mind that without every member, we are not a complete team and cannot do stunts, etc.

7.Tuition pays for training. IT DOES NOT PAY FOR THE RIGHT TO PERFORM. Please be clear on this point. A squad member earns the right to compete through preparedness as a team member.

8.Any member who is not prepared to perform at the skill level of the squad may be moved to a squad more suited to their level.

9.There may, at the coach’s discretion, be practices called before a competition for a group or for the squad.

These are to be treated as any other practice and are absolutely mandatory. Thank you in advance for adjusting your schedule to accommodate these practices.

COMPETITIONS

1.All Cheerleaders will show up ON TIME to the designated meeting area before a competition.

2.All Cheerleaders will be dressed in the appropriate attire as chosen by the coaches.

3.NO JEWELRY will be worn at competitions. If you are thinking of getting something pierced, it is suggested that you do it well in advance of competition season so that it can be removed for the competitions.  Taping over piercings is no longer allowed by the competitions or the national cheer companies at camps.  We will have to remove the piercings and reinsert them at practices and camp.  It is painful and not suggested.  May to June is the best time to do this.

4.Full uniform will be worn during the competition unless otherwise stated. This includes performance make-up, which is light and still allows them to look like kids.

5.We will be respectful of ALL other squads.

6.We WILL NOT taunt, boast, brag or otherwise harass other squads. We will let our skills do all of our talking for us.  That said, do your outside practice work, and be ready to bring it.

7.No one is allowed to leave the competition early unless approved by a coach. We will support each other.

8.Parents, you do not have to stay: however, your child does. All Cheerleaders will stay until awards are presented.

9.Parents are responsible for getting cheerleaders to and from in-town competitions.

10.ALL cheerleaders are to stay in a designated hotel for Nationals. No exceptions.

11.All out of town competitions will be overnight stays. All cheerleaders are to be there the night before early enough so that they may get a good night sleep. Parents, if you personally cannot get your child to the competition hotel by the designated time, then you must arrange for your child to go with someone else. (****Please note: There are NO out of town competitions scheduled at this time. You will be forewarned if one should be added)
